This position requires in depth knowledge of high end microprocessor operation in the low power arena. Must have hands on experience describing logic in Verilog, tuning performance, and optimizing critical timing paths. Must be able to demonstrate self-discipline to achieve individual goals as well as appropriate communication to achieve overall team goals.
Education Requirement or Equivalent:
Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Experience Requirement:
Minimum of 10 years of related experience with 7 years specifically in microprocessor development
Special Skills or Knowledge Required:
CPU architecture understanding Able to optimize for power/performance tradeoffs Able to create physically optimizable logic Demonstrate continuous improvement via methodology enhancement Verilog proficiency Working knowledge with c/c++/perl preferred
